BMW X4 Concept Here is the first look at the BMW X4 Concept, an initiative set to be unveiled at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show. In essence the design is a more compact version of the X6, with the design and specs derived from the 3 Series and X3 while rumors also suggest that the X4 makes use of the X3′s 8-speed automatic transmission and 3.0 liter straight-six engine capable of 240 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. Be sure to hear a lot more about the car in the near future.

Have you heard the phrase “I miss the Old New York”? To my knowledge it refers to a particular time in New York City when the streets were alive and culture was created. The New Museum have brought an amazing concept to life where “If you place a toll free call at one of 5,000 pay phones in Manhattan between now and May 26, you will get a free history lesson on what life was like in the city 20 years ago.” entitled Recalling 1993.

Patta Spring/Summer 2013 Collection Lookbook The Patta Spring/Summer Collection 2013 is scheduled for release soon, but to hold everybody over, Patta presents a small pre-season collection containing various t-shirts and button-down shirts. The tees vary from tonal Script prints to sporty logos to all-over prints, while the button-down shirts come in lightweight denim or all-over graphics, which might look familiar as they were featured on the inner lining of previous Patta items. Patta recruited photographer Robbie Baauw, stylist Bonne Reijn and the young guns from The New Originals (founders of Secluded Clothing) to shoot a lookbook. All items are now exclusively available at patta.nl.

Kenny Scharf Paints a Lockheed Jetstar for the Arizona Boneyard Project Pop art legend Kenny Scharf has added his contribution to curator Eric Firestone’s Phoenix, Arizona-based Boneyard Project, in the form of a vintage Lockheed Jetstar covered in his trademark graffiti stylings. Curated by Firestone, along with Carlo McCormick and Medvin Sobio, The Boneyard Project has its home on a vast plot of desert land and is populated by vintage planes, rescued from the salvage yard and turned into works of art. Shepard Fairey, Retna, Faile, and Richard Prince have all contributed in the past.
