Crane.TV profiles British illustrator, set designer and prop-maker Gary Card in a new episode, seen above. Card’s ability to adapt to the diverse requirements of different jobs has him in high demand with brands such as Topshop, Comme des Garcons, Adidas, COS and Nike, who have all employed his services. Recently, Card designed an electric christmas tree, inspired by the Vauxhall Ampera, which will be installed at King’s Cross filling station until January. Here, Card talks about a few of the projects he has worked on, the pros and cons of his work and his healthy obsession with the color purple.
