Today, Converse in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation, announced the debut of a limited edition Converse Andy Warhol All Star Chuck ’70 sneaker, celebrating the preeminent 20th century American artist who famously used the Chuck Taylor All Star as a blank canvas and platform for self-expression. Limited to only 200 pairs, the Converse Andy Warhol All Star Chuck ’70 is a near replica of Andy Warhol’s original work of art Converse All Star, c. 1984-6, which is part of the permanent collection at The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
