Following our initial preview of the project between Nike SB and Jordan Brand, here is a first look at the product to get you excited. Designed by Craig Stecyk — once the co-owner of Santa Monica’s legendary Jeff Ho Surfboards — and Zephyr Production, the design of the Air Jordan 1 is derived from his art installation “Northwest Passage.” Featuring a gradient black and green finish to the upper along with a mesh ankle and tongue, the design is contrasted with a white midsole and completed with some tonal “AJ One SB” type on the heel. The Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 will be available in limited quantity starting March 15th from Nike.com.
Even more good news: Nike SB and Jordan Brand are preparing to release a a pair designed by Lance Mountain in the near future.
