In the resulting video, Hue speaks about how he first became emerged in the fashion scene of Tokyo and discusses his influences, from 1980s American pop culture and his experience with a variety of cultures during his stay in New York from 1999 – 2003. The designer further explains the origins of the name “Deluxe” and how his variety of influences lead to the creation of the tagline “Street Tailor” – a mixture between both street culture & high fashion.
