Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Collection The worlds largest musical instrument maker Guitar Centre have teamed up with iconic musician to release the “Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Collection.” The instalment features designs made with Fender, Gibson and Martin Guitar, drawing inspiration from certain elements of Clapton’s career to date. The collection consists of replicas of the original “Lucy” and “Brownie” guitars, alongside three Martin acoustic guitars designed by Clapton himself. Proceeds from the sales of each guitar will also be donated to benefit Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Centre, so don’t be shy in splashing the cash. The Crossroads Guitar Collection is now available exclusively from Guitar Centre.

styled-a-sauvage-ss13-1 STYLED by Adrien Sauvage, subtitled SW Diaries, is the latest in oki-ni’s STYLED By series, and charts the visual story of the British designer’s origin and identity in a series of black and white portraits photographed by Sauvage himself. Adrien Sauvage played basketball professionally before taking an early retirement from the sport aged 19, when he began to make forays into the fashion industry, eventually founding A.Sauvage in 2010. The editorial offers a deeply personal self-reflective study that also sets the scene for Sauvage’s SS13 collection and features rising model O’Shea Robertson as the young designer.  The editorial is fully shoppable at oki-ni.

All items will be available in two colorways and will be available in-store in NY, LA, London and online on April 4th while locations in Japan will have stock from the 6th.

Filmmaker Shannah Laumeister looks into the life and work of one of the greatest American Photographers. Straight from the back catalogues of Madison Avenue, Stern began as a mailroom-boy at Look Magazine and eventually grew to his renowned status. The film will be doing the Festival circuits, so keep an eye out for it appearing somewhere near you.

New to the pages of SLAMXHYPE, we present new music accompanied by a visual from Brainfeeder’s latest hip hop entity, Azizi Gibson. We last heard from Azizi, as he was featured on Captain Murphy’s “Immaculation” and has crafted quite a few amazing tracks over Flying Lotus production along with many others. Entitled, “Ghost in the Shell” the classic anime reference hints Azizi’s interest while he takes us on a smoke filled ride through LA, spilling out a plethora of cold lyrics, over the the smooth sounds of producer Jonothan Lowell. We also see quite a few cameos from classic streetwear brand, FUCT, as they support the young artist and his vision. Overall, the song showcases a nice balance of contemporary and nostalgic hip hop from the new comer that we thoroughly enjoy. Azizi’s next project “Ghost in a Shell” slated to release soon and I for one, cant wait for it.

Yup, just the one sweatshirt. But what’s so special about this sweatshirt is that it is made from ONE single piece of tulle, depicting an abstract Madonna. In line with the house’s SS13 Menswear prints, Givenchy is all about the iconography at the moment, blending the worlds of art, haute couture, and sportswear.

The latest collection sees Fred Perry reaching out to 7 of Japan’s most respected brands – including COMME des GARCONS JUNYA WATANABE MAN, visvim, GANRYU COMME des GARCONS, Kolor, Sacai and UNDERCOVER – with each brand designing a polo in collaboration with Fred Perry. To coincide with the collection, artist Andy Hillman has created an installation dubbed the “60 Years” Gallery, housed in DSM Ginza’s Elephant Space which will display the collection. The polos will be available in limited numbers from the 60 Years Gallery at Dover Street Market Ginza from April 2nd – 25th.
