Nike athlete Ashley Cole will join England’s 100 cap club when he takes to the Wembley pitch against Brazil this evening. He becomes only the seventh player to reach this milestone. Even more impressively, Ashley has made the starting XI every single time. Ashley can celebrate 100 England caps, 100 England starts, over 8,166 minutes played and five international tournaments.
To mark this landmark occasion, Cole will run out in a pair of personalized Nike Tiempo Legend IV boots. The boots are embroidered with messages designed to celebrate his achievement: a St George’s cross, his initials and squad number (“AC 3″), “England vs Brazil” and “100th Cap.”
Ashley’s boots were presented to him Feb. 5 at The FA’s St George’s Park facility in a specially designed presentation box.
