The Generic Man continues its slew of collaborations, this time joining forces with the iconic and legendary stalwart of high-end department stores, Selfridges & Co. The collection, colorfully called Sunday Spundae, features bold riffs on three pieces from the Generic stable, while I picked out The Florentine and the Slip-On.
As the name implies, GNRC looked to the early 90s San Francisco club scene for inspiration. The parties, which happened at Club 1015, were jam-packed with jet-setting music fiends who led lifestyles as loud as these shoes. The Florentine comes in a black and a white camouflage print; and the Slip-On in fluorescent green, yellow, and blue patent leathers. All eight are hand-made in Portugal with 100% Italian materials, so think twice before hopping into them for your next forgotten weekend.
Both The Generic Man for Selfridges collection and our elite collaboration with Spencer Hart will be artfully displayed on a unique buildout throughout the month of February in the footwear department at Selfridges and Co. in London.
