The Inoue Brothers recently released their latest t-shirt collection over at Dover Street Market. Known for their mission:
“The brand has been developed through uncompromising ideals yet total openness of perspective, which has enabled the brand to establish strong bonds with various indigenous and heritage, culture and craft rich communities. With every project, the aim is to create awareness of responsible production methods through quality and design”
The Inoue Brothers have continued their work with the region of Tohoku, Japan, an area that experienced a great deal of devastation when the Tsunami took place. This limited T-shirt only collection is an expression of efforts to commission work for operational textile co-operatives of factories and workshops whose commissioned contracts has been withdrawn due to production risks. Included in the collection are collaborative works by Bow Wow + Hiroshi Fujiwara and Outlaws London. The collection can now be found in-store and online at Dover Street Market.
