Is it just me or do Michael Johansson’s sculptures remind you of Pawel Nolbert’s Sneakercubes? Johansson’s three-dimensional works appear at Milan’s Flat Gallery as part of a solo exhibition by the artist, entitled Still Lifes. Johansson adds a sense of visual intrigue to everyday objects by repurposing them, tetris-like, into perfect cubes. The hues and textures of these newly configured sculptures are designed to present the objects to their audiences in a new light, with altered meaning. (via designboom)
