Hiroki Nakamura’s latest Dissertation (read “Collection”) is previewed above, presenting a look at visvim’s Spring/Summer 2013 offering. The organic vintage feel that the brand is known for prevails once again and provides a clue as what we can expect to find in the entire collection. Entitled “Dissertation on Symbolism and our Prayer Flag”, this season continues to take inspiration from and reference various ethnic cultures. Also included in the gallery above is the flag of the Asofo, a traditional warrior group of the Fante people of Ghana, and perhaps a further referential hint for the forthcoming collection. The flag is currently on display at F.I.L. Tokyo until the beginning of February.
