Stone Island and New Balance have come together to produce the SI_577 Pack, a new rendition of the classic 577 running shoe in two colorways. As you would expect, Stone Island has delved into its vast archive to find a wealth of materials to use on the shoe, including RASO GOMMATO, a ready to be dyed material made of military specification satin weave cotton, bonded to a polyurethane cover. A highly reflective material composed of a polyester base and coated with thousands of glass microspheres is used for the heel tab. Patches in shake moulded rubber bear the legendary “N” featured on all of New Balance’s sneakers. Aside from the innovative construction, aesthetic details like the Stone Island lace tag and tongue graphic as well as two clean colorways set these sneakers apart.
