TIME Magazine has released it’s Top 10 photos for 2012, giving us a look back over what has been a year of change, revolution and poignant reminders of nature’s potency. Common themes are of human conflict – notably the ongoing civil war in Syria – and natural disaster, although their are also instances of achievement and triumph.
