Steven Harrington “Auroraborealis” Exhibition at The Standard

California artists Steven Harrington and Justin Krietemeyer have brought the magic of a vibe-y winter wonderland to The Standard, Hollywood for their  “Auroraborealis” residency, which runs through mid-February. Their colorful lobby installation exemplifies the duo’s complementary mark making, with neon geodes, bold paintings, and larger-than-life friendship bracelets radiating cosmic greetings. Outside, the hotel’s exterior has been transformed with a confetti-like snowfall of wacky graphics, a true blizzard of celebration. The residence kicks off this Friday, December 14, with an opening reception in the Cactus Lounge. Come hang, hug, drink for free (beer & wine from 8 p.m.– 10 p.m.), and revel in  the joy of a Cali-cool winter.
