Drawing inspiration from Liverpool’s famous Docklands and the now defunct Liverpool Overhead Railway (LOR) that runs along their length, Nike SB and UK skate shop Lost Art have come together to create two updated versions of classic SB silhouettes, the Bruin and BA. The Lost Art pack reflects the changing shape of modern day Liverpool city, with the no nonsense Bruin representing the old, by taking color and material cues from the original uniforms worn by LOR guards, along with black pigskin uppers supporting two woollen swooshes. The BA upholds a more contemporary angle, with a colorway that comes straight from the urban and natural landscape that surrounds the LOR and Docklands; the water, brickwork and concrete that have traditionally been Liverpool’s lifeblood. The Nike SB x Lost Art footwear range launches exclusively through Lost Art Skate Shop and online on March 14, and globally through Nike.com and additional core skate retailers from March 21.
