Vault by Vans and artist Taka Hayashi get together to release two new colorways of the TH Sk8-Mid Skool LX. Hayashi reimagined the classic Mid Skool silhouette, evolving it into a more deluxe footwear piece. The two new colorways pay homage to Vans’ iconic checkerboard pattern. The black leather pair features the checkerboard as a print across its split side panel, while the brick suede pair features intricate woven details. Both have embossed midsole accents, traditional vulcanized waffle outsoles and Taka Hayashi’s branding. The sneakers are set to release this month at select Vault by Vans retailers, including Kith.
