The New Balance 1400 used to be a Japan exclusive from the footwear company — a notion that we’ve come to accept as fans of limited edition Japanese product. The good news is that now NB have decided to bring the sneaker Stateside, re-relasing it exclusively through J.Crew, who they’ve been collaborating with for several seasons now. J.Crew’s design team did the design honors, choosing two exclusive colorways; Fort Greene and Blue Marble. Constructed in premium American suede and nylon mesh, the sneakers are made in New Balance’s Skowhegan factory in Maine. Find a pair online now.
