The Orsman Spring / Summer 2015 collection sees a welcome development of the clean, worldly aesthetic that the UK brand has projected to date; the label’s escapist standpoint sees it explore nautical themes while offering wearable menswear staples each season. From a design perspective, ’80s and ’90s sportswear serves as the aesthetic launch pad for a re-visiting of key pieces — some of which we’ve seen in earlier iterations in the past couple of seasons. Colour-blocked windbreakers, t-shirts and bomber jackets provide a solid backbone to the SS15 collection, and are revised this season with an updated fit. Stripes also feature throughout the line — a nod to both the nautical and sporting elements at play — while premium jersey remains a brand signature, employed across sweats, shorts, and joggers. Stay tuned for release dates.
