It’s hard to think of an effort by Nike and fragment design that hasn’t yielded excellent results. 2014 proved to be a seriously good year for the ongoing partnership, with the Roshe LD 1000 and Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG remaining two of the top sneaker releases from that year, period. Add into the mix the hugely anticipated Sock Dart which dropped last week and it’s no overstatement to say the duo are on a roll. It’s really no surprise then to tell you we’re pretty excited about the latest from the franchise; the fragment design x NikeLab Hyperchase. The Hyperchase sees the pairing return to the hardwood for Spring 2015, introducing a low profile basketball sneaker that reeks of the minimalism which has so far defined any offering from the collaboration. A unique lacing system utilises Nike’s dynamic Flywire support, while branding is represented by fragment’s logo on the tongue, insole, and heel of the sneaker. The first colorway presented is the military green version seen above, which is set to drop at nike.com/nikelab and NikeLab locations on February 12.
