It’s been 100 years since Hyman Moscot started selling eyeglasses from a cart on NYC’s Lower East Side. Fast forward a century and his hustle is now noted as one of the classic and most respected purveyors of eyewear in the world, still offering the iconic styles at high quality. Celebrating its grand milestone, Moscot has launched three new takes on the Lemtosh model, each of which references the brand’s heritage. The Lemtosh Wood takes inspiration from the wooden pushcart that Hyman lugged around the city. The Lemtosh Smart allows for prescription lenses with a clip-on ‘driver’ addition, while the foldable Lemtosh allows for a handy pack-down to pocket size. Looks like Moscot is still going strong after all those years.
