As part of London Collections: Men 2015 Fall/Winter fashion week, Stussy has worked with fast rising designer (and Central Saint Martins student) Kiko Kostadinov to produce a capsule collection for the brand’s 35th anniversary. The collection follows on the back of Kiko’s custom “Displacement” sweaters which he designed for Stussy and SHOWStudio last year, which became hugely in demand although they were produced in highly limited numbers. This time around the designer follows the same cut-up technique and aesthetic, mismatching cuts across a range of tees, sweatpants and hoodies. The end result plays with the fact that Stussy‘s identity is so iconic — even by showing a mere part of its logo, the pieces are thoroughly recognisable as Stussy. The capsule is available from today (Jan 9) exclusively at London’s Machine-A.
