The writers and editors at SlamXHype spend their whole lives on the Internet, grinding their keyboards into dust as they scour the vast reaches of the digified world to find the coolest shit around.

Some of that stuff finds it’s way onto SlamXHype’s website, others go straight here in the form of SlamXWeekly, a curated set of links to the best and most awesome stuff that the interwebs have to offer.

SlamXWeekly hits every Friday. So check out the round up below, then check back next week for more.

MONDAY

Riccardo Tisci shut the game down – not once, but twice – with his NikeRT collections. Now he’s back with the “Triangle Offense”, his final collaboration with Nike.

We shared a guide to distressing Levi’s jeans, since the DIY wave is still going strong.

Put a point on the scoreboard for sneakerheads — Jeff Staple made a custom frozen custard and apparel collection with Shake Shack.

There are some guys out there who have a thing for women in streetwear. Leia Contois is everything you’re looking for and more. You’re welcome.

TUESDAY

Derek Jeter is finally bidding the sports world farewell. To honor the 20 years Jeter spent wearing navy pinstripes, Jordan Brand has created two pairs of really limited kicks for him.

Want to learn more about the ‘Blood & Sperm’ t-shirt from the new Supreme collection? Here’s a video from the artist behind that collaboration.

Everyone seems to be on the low top Nike Huarache wave. Last week, a pair of 3M Air Fight Huaraches dropped, and they’re pretty sick. You should check out the outfitting options we put together.

WEDNESDAY

This week’s SlamXStyle is inspired by the colors of New York’s Syracuse University athletic jerseys. Orange might not be the most historically fashionable color, but here are some pieces that may change that.

When the discussion topic is gentrification, the pool of reactions usually includes: a ton of expletives, a few people shaking their heads, and heavy sighs. We followed GILF! (it’s not what you think it stands for) while she walked barefoot around New York City to raise awareness for the homelessness surrounding gentrification.

If you’re a fan of KAWS, you should make your way to the Honor Fraser Gallery (Los Angeles) to check out his latest exhibit. He’s reimagined some of the Peanuts characters, and everything in his new show would look sick on some OriginalFake tees (just saying).

THURSDAY

Reebok has been on FIRE with their Instapump Fury 20th anniversary collaborations this year. This week’s SlamXThrowback is all about the history of the Reebok Instapump Fury. You must be doing something right if Coca-Cola and Chanel want to get involved.

Chocolate Skateboards is highly respected in the skateboarding world. They’re in their 20th year and that calls for celebration. To commemorate, they’ve partnered with the good folks at DQM for an art show and two skate sessions.

You need something to keep you busy during your lunch break today (we know how antisocial some of you can be). Watch this killer, lo-fi piece from Palace Skateboards.

FRIDAY

Apple seems pretty confident that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will convert current Android users. They created  a guide for Android users who may need help transferring their nudes media, contacts and other things over to iOS.

If you’re a big fan of internet culture and want to represent it ‘IRL’, BEENTRILL has you covered. Do you like how “#BEEN#TRILL X (insert your name here)” sounds? Now it’s possible, with the help of customization site ‘to.be.’

Goodhood and Norse Projects finally connect for a collection full of essentials — cozy tees, crew neck sweaters, and funky pants. It drops today so you should act quickly.

Apart from his culinary endeavors, Jeff Staple also dropped these (essentially perfect) ‘Pigeon’ Clarks Wallabees. If you manage to get your hands on a pair, we will find you and hunt you down.
