KAWS recently opened his new solo exhibition, Man’s Best Friend, at LA’s Honor Fraser Gallery, unveiling a new body of work in his signature style. Many of the pieces hint at abstract expressionism of the ’50s, offering the artist’s satirical take on Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts characters, but there are two key styles on display — KAWS’ signature bold color palette in rich, multi-dimensional renderings; and monochromatic renditions of beloved characters like Snoopy, Lucy and Pig-Pen.
Take a look at the show in the gallery above.
