Last night saw adidas Originals celebrate the launch of its new London flagship store in Foubert’s Place, Carnaby. This flagship is the latest in the brand’s global series of Neighborhood stores (which have previously opened in Berlin, Shanghai and Seoul). A slew of local talent was on hand to make the night a memorable one, with street artists Malarko and Rosanna Webster hitting up the windows with a custom display, and performances by spoken word artist George the Poet and singer Elli Ingram. Even Samuel L. Jackson caught wind of the party, and swung through in a three-stripe tracksuit and OG bucket hat — very classic.
The London flagship will now play host to limited edition releases and collaborations as well as exclusive events throughout the year. The first of these releases comes in the form of a special-edition ZX Flux, adorned with satellite imagery of London. 150 pairs will be released in-store at 10am on Saturday, August 16th.
