Back in April, Levi’s Skateboarding joined Bolivian skater Milton Arellano in an effort to build a public skatepark in La Paz, Bolivia. Alongside a crew of over 100 skateboarders and builders from around the world, they set to work with a philanthropic mission to bring skating to this third world location. Pro skaters Marius Syvanen, David Gravette, Josh Matthews, Joey Pepper, Chet Childress and Al Partanen lived, worked and skated the resulting Pura Pura skatepark, three miles above sea level. It’s cool to see big brands like this giving something back to the little guy.
