If you’re in London this July, you’ve basically got no legitimate excuse not to get down to Simon Lee Gallery and cop yourself a limited edition Larry Clark print. The cult filmmaker and photographer is set to sell a selection of photographic prints made between 1992-2010, most of which were printed at pharmacies and one hour photo shops. Set to go for about $100 a pop, Clark has said the sale is for “all the kids that come to my shows and could never afford 10 to 15 thousand dollars for a print. This is a pay back to all the skate rats and collectors who would like a souvenir, so I can die happy.” The guy is 71 after all.
The sale will run July 6th-10th.
