In part two of our Rich Guys Who Can’t Dress series, we unpacked the terrible sartorial habits of Adam Sandler, a man who is worth over $300 million but constantly looks like an ex-fratboy who teaches surfing lessons in Hawaii.
For part three, we give you Russell Brand. Though when compared to Sandler’s hefty net worth, Brand’s $15 million seems rather modest, the British comedian/actor still has more than enough money to dress better than he does (which is like an avant-garde, homeless Californian).
His wardrobe seems to consist of an eclectic collection of hand-me-downs and Salvation Army finds. Three things are infuriating about this. First: that his clothes, in reality, are probably obnoxiously expensive. Second: why is Russell Brand famous in the first place, and thus able to afford obnoxiously expensive clothes that look like trash? And third: how does a man that does what he does, and wears what he wears, get to date so many beautiful women? We are apparently doing something wrong.
