The image comes from a picture taken Kanye sitting dejectedly in a plastic chair, outfitted in zipline gear and looking terribly unhappy to be there. Know Your Meme thinks the picture was taken sometime in 2012 while Kanye was vacationing in Mexico with Kim, but it doesn’t matter, his face is priceless and it’s spawned a thousand memes of Kanye being emo in the most hilarious and/or fun moments when nobody should be sad.
