OG sneaker aficionados will remember Lotto, an Italian imprint that carved out a booming business in tennis shoes and soccer cleats back in the ’80s and ’90s. Their kind-of-hilarious/kind-of-awesome crown jewel was a line of sneakers with interchangeable velcro patches of their dual-box logos that you could remove and exchange, thereby changing the color of your shoes (see below).

Lottos may have slipped into obscurity for American consumers, but they still do a good business with cleat and uniform manufacturing and have contracts with such national soccer teams as Lebanon, Costa Rica, Brunei, Myanmar, Syria, Samoa, American Samoa, Vanuatu, Cook Islands, New Zealand’s Northern Region 2nd Division teams and more.

Are they ready for a Stateside comeback? Well, there’s clearly some fashion-forward (backward?) sneakerhead somewhere in Brooklyn who’s already rocking them again.
