There were reportedly over 2,000 bands that made their way down to SXSW for concerts, showcases and parties. A handul of them you've heard of, but the vast majority are relatively unknown. From Black Milk and Booty Fade to Desert Noises and Perfect Pussy, indie acts have apparently given up trying to actually choose names that sound like a band and just mush nouns and adjectives together into "provocative" combinations.
