When it comes to constantly creating new clothing, footwear and accessory designs, the streetwear brands and fashion houses with the staying power – the Supremes, Nikes and Saint Laurents of the world — are uber-creative. When it comes to the fonts they use in their logos and brand identities however, not so much.
If you don’t believe us, check out the typography cards in the gallery above and the infographic below. What fonts are the biggest winners? Futura and Helvetica. So, if you want to start a streetwear brand, use Futura. A high-end imprint? Use Helvetica.
Exceptions to the rule? 40 oz NYC actual got creative… that’s pretty much it.
