Last night (March 5) marked the launch of an incredible collaboration between two very different drinks companies with a common passion for craft and taste. Jameson Irish Whiskey and East London’s Beavertown micro-brewery debuted their new Ger’onimo beer at Beavertown’s Duke’s Brew and Cue bar in Hackney Wick.
And we can attest that the results are nothing short of amazing.
The unique partnership sees an imperial stout aged in Jameson’s charred oak casks, which gives it a deliciously smokey flavor that sits alongside the beer’s own coffee, chocolate and salted caramel notes. Named in honor of Jameson’s 5th generation master brewer, Ger Buckley, our hats are off to Beavertown founder and brewer Logan Plant for crafting our new favorite drink in time for St Patrick’s day. Check out the video below where Logan talks us through the whole process.
