Although he’s been a cult figure in the art world for years, it was only in 2013 that the mainstream world caught onto to American artist Wes Lang, thanks to his collaboration with Kanye West on the rapper’s Yeezus tour merchandise. Following the Wes Lang monograph published last year by Picturebox, the artist has released American Odyssey, a retrospective book that takes a look back over the last 10 years of his career. Lang’s fans will recognize a decade of his illustrative renderings drawn from the worlds of tattoo art, biker culture, pin-ups, Native American culture, Grim Reapers and more.
