Both Japanese watchmaker G-SHOCK and Rotterdam’s wildest concept store Gorilli are celebrating their 30th Anniversary (Gorilli’s actually kicks off January 1st, but still) and a collaboration: the Delfts Blauw Watch.
What is Delfts Blauw? It’s a flowery design style that the Dutch started using on their ceramics back in the 16th century. You’ll see these whimsical decorations peppered throughout the watch’s bracelet, as well as the watch’s tile packaging.
The Delfts Blauw Watch comes in three different packages:
- The “White” Package: Gorilli x G-Shock watch with an unique Gorilli ‘Delfts blauw’ tile and Gorilli G-Shock Mixtape with exclusive tracks by some of the best dutch hip-hop artists.
- The “Blue” Package: Everything from “White” plus a Gorilli Delfts Blauw T-shirt.
- The “Silver” Package: Everything from “Blue”, plus a unique addition: the plastic clip on the wristband has been replaced by a hand made silver clip with an engraved OG Gorilli Logo.
The watch arrives on December 14th at the Gorilli Concept Store in Rotterdam and at OntFront in Amsterdam. If you’re partying in the USA, you can visit Gorilli’s webstore to get yours.
