Launched at a small event at London’s Pertwee, Anderson & Gold gallery this week, Roundel is the latest foray into fashion from Andrew Bunney and Italy’s Slam Jam. The brand celebrates the London Underground, in everything from it’s name (a roundel is the identifiable disc-like insignia used as the underground’s logo), to the graphics and textual motifs of tube maps and quotations from British politicians and activists. Shot in a derelict tube station, Roundel’s debut lookbook captures the heart of young London while simultaneously paying tribute to its past. Stay tuned for the collection to drop at Dover Street Market locations in London, Tokyo and New York next month.
