If your inner-child isn’t penning a Christmas letter to your mother begging her for this bike right now, you either don’t appreciate great design, or you don’t have a mom. Given that you’re currently reading SLAMXHYPE, we’re going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you’re an orphan. Celebrating 50 years of the Sting-Ray, American bicycle manufacturer Schwinn pays tribute to designer Al Fritz with the Fritz Fifty Edition, a beautifully crafted bike that marks the model’s first update since 1973. It’s basically chrome-plated poetry. Produced in a limited run of 500, each bike will be individually numbered, arriving at select retailers early next month. For more info, head over here.
