If you didn’t know, Evidence & Alchemist (of Dilated Peoples fame) now have a rap group called ‘Step Brothers.’ Other than some promotional buzz, demo leaks, and a handful of live performances, the stream of content has been pretty light.
Enter these visuals for “Step Masters,” the first official video for the track, which will be featured on the album Lord Steppington, coming this January. You’ll see why personality plays a big part of what makes these two a stellar combo, as they face off in a number of random contests – including (but not limited to) ‘fastest beer chug’, ‘longest mouth wash’, and highest score at Dance Dance Revolution. But don’t be too distracted to notice the track, where you’ll catch the duo’s free-flowing raps hit the mark over a crisp, drum-heavy Alchemist beat. Expect more of this sound on the LP, as well as features from Domo Genesis, Action Bronson, and Styles P.
Also, Evidence is apparently an incredible Instagram photographer, taking tasteful shots of nature and sunsets. Follow him @mrevidence… if you’re into stuff like that.
