FEIT have added to their footwear range with the introduction of their first slip-on style, the aptly named Slipper, offered in both Natural (leather) and Marine (suede). Rather more exquisite than most of the slip-ons that we’ve seen released over the last few months, FEIT’s hand sewn model sits on the fence somewhere between a sneaker and a dress shoe. The slippers are constructed from start to finish by a single craftsman who has adapted the traditional Goodyear Construction by attaching the cork foot bed inside the sole unit for extra durability. They are then left on the last for up to ten days where light steam is let into the room, letting moisture fall onto the shoes. This process allows the humidity to tighten the shoe on the last, ensuring a superior shape and fit. You can find the slippers online at FEIT or at Dover Street Market and Dover Street Market Ginza.
