Only days ago, Takashi Murakami opened his latest body of works entitled “ARHAT” at Blum & Poe in Culver City art district of Los Angeles. Introducing a impressive new selection of painting and sculptural works and if you follow Murakami’s Instagram you would have been able to get an insight, the prolific contemporary Japanese artist highlights inspiration from an ancient tale of Buddhist monks confronting decay and death as the pivotal element of these works.
