It speaks to the sensibilities and capabilities of the styling team at GRIND Magazine that they’ve been able to pull off such an understated editorial with Bape’s Spring/Summer 2013 Collection. Not that the collection itself isn’t great, but that they’ve been able to highlight the more mature elements of the designs through color matching, soft photography and a focus on utilitarianism – in much the same way that Sense did a few weeks ago with their own SS13 editorial. It’s a great way to present Bape.
